Take me where the beloved is!
Take me there, where in the kingdom of the rising sun,
I can see her waking up from her tiring slumber.
Take me there, where in the land of scorching sands,
I stay bewildered in the patterns that her feet renders.
Take me there, where in the valleys of frozen bliss,
I feel her flowing inside me, swiftly like a gifted river.
Take me there, in the garden from where she has just left,
So I can smell the fragrance of her soul in every flower.
Take me there to the fathomless ocean, behind whom the sky turns orange,
Where she hearkens to the recitation of my heart, crafted in the Urdu sher.
Take me there, where in the ether that holds the full moon,
My vulnerable fragments rebirth in my every kiss to her.
Take me there, where in the throngs of her city,
She dances madly, calling out to her lover.
So take me there where the beloved stays,
As I know, in our union the heavens shall also elate, My creator.
